Qualifications

• Required: Pharmacy Technician Licensure; National Certification (or must obtain within 6 months).
• Preferred: Competence in USP <797> and USP <800>.
• Experience: High level competence in IV room operations; aseptic technique

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the IV room and technical staff.
• Monthly environmental monitoring.
• Sterile technique competency.
• Routine cleanroom cleaning.
• Adherence to workflow and compounding logs.
• Staff aseptic technique and product quality assurance.
• Managing IV inventory.
• Assisting with PI and quality assurance.
• Education and training of all new IV staff and students.
