Job summary

PharMerica, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a Pharmacy IV Technician in Huntington, WV for a full-time, non-retail role in a sterile compounding environment.

You'll support pharmacists, maintain USP 797 standards, prepare IV medications for long-term care residents, and participate in QA, inventory, and documentation; benefits include insurance, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and DailyPay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state
• 6 months - 1 year of IV Pharmacy Technician experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications
• Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, and effective oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile compounding room and USP 797 compliance.
• Prepare and fill IV medications for long-term care residents.
• Support QA processes and proper documentation.
• Assist pharmacists with data entry, refill coordination, and communications with facilities.
• Stage, prepare, and fill medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain infusion pumps and sterile equipment.
