PharMerica in Greensburg, PA is hiring a full-time Pharmacy IV Technician to join our non-retail, closed-door team serving long-term care and senior living clients.

You will maintain the Sterile Compounding Room, prepare sterile prescriptions for residents, and support QA processes, inventory, and coordination with nursing homes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• 6 months–1 year IV Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Ability to operate a computer and identify medications.
• Detail oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, and monitor the Sterile Compounding Room per USP 797 and state standards.
• Prepare and fill prescriptions for long-term care residents.
• Support QA processes and regulatory documentation.
• Assist with data entry, refill coordination, and coordination with nursing homes.
• Inventory management and stocking in the IV department.
• Collaborate with supervisors to maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
