Job summary

New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) seeks a program coordinator to support Title IV-E practicum placements, internships, and educational leave opportunities, under the direction of program leadership. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support Title IV-E practicum programming for student placements within the agency.
  • Coordinate placement logistics for practicum students and interns across the agency.
  • Align academic requirements with Title IV-E expectations and agency practice standards.
  • Maintain documentation to support quality, compliance, and scalability of student placements.
  • Monitor program activities and report trends and issues to leadership.
  • Track basic data related to student placements, completion rates, and hiring outcomes with supervisory support.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation logistics for practicum students, interns, and supervisors.
  • Develop and distribute tools and resources for supervision and learning experiences.
