Job summary

New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) seeks a supervisor for Adoption and Retention Specialists to oversee recruitment, matching, case consultation, documentation, and staff training. The incumbent ensures compliance with CYFD policy and leads collaboration with internal staff and external partners to support permanency outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Guidance and Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology or related field.
• Two years of experience in communities, health or social services, social work, case management, behavioral health or healthcare.
• Licensure in NM as listed (or eligibility) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Adoption and Retention Specialists and oversee recruitment and matching activities.
• Monitor documentation and input into centralized case management and data systems.
• Provide coaching, trainings, and staff development; lead program collaboration.
