Job summary

Moore Norman Technology Center is seeking an ITS Technician to support the district's technology systems on-site at the Franklin Road Campus. The role includes installation and maintenance of electronic access controls and cameras, as well as coordinating with other departments to ensure cross-system functionality and safety drills.

Qualifications include a high school diploma with technical training in computer and networking technology, and the ability to obtain CompTIA A+ certification within

SALARY COMPENSATION PACKAGE: $28.14 - $29.29 hourly/$58,527.00 - $60,927.00 annually

Job Objective: Under general supervision, performs skilled duties to support the use of technology to accomplish the mission of the district.

Qualifications

Education: H.S. diploma and technical training in computer and networking technology

Credentials: Active or dormant Commercial Access Control, CCTV, and/or Fire Alarm License preferred

Required: Must be able to obtain CompTIA A+ Certificationwithin the first year of employment

Experience: Experience installing network and low-voltage cabling preferred

Proven experience with the maintenance of fire and intrusion systems, to include electronic key management preferred

Minimum of two years' experience providing computer hardware and software support in a networked environment

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administration, installation, and maintenance of electronic access controls and cameras, to include proximity card and swipe card hardware
  • Ability to coordinate with other departments to ensure proper integration, cross-system functionality, and required safety drills
