Job summary

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a System Integration Engineer (TE3) in Shoreline, WA to lead ITS device deployment, performance, and integration across projects.

Qualifications

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles and ITS device operation.

Strong leadership, coaching, and performance-evaluation skills.
Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting practices related to transportation.

Responsibilities

Maintain and modify programs for freeway ramp control systems.
Troubleshoot ITS network devices and validate field communication plans.
Provide ITS punchlist for multiple project delivery methods and construct phases.
Conduct field reviews to verify ITS plans against actual conditions.
Coordinate with WSDOT and external partners on ITS-related needs and solutions.
