Job summary

ACCIONA is leading a transformative infrastructure project in Georgia as part of the SR400 Express Lanes initiative. The Project Engineer – ITS will support field installation, testing, and coordination across ITS systems, fiber, power, and field devices, working with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and engineers to ensure compliant, timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure, transportation, or construction projects.
• Familiarity with GDOT projects and AASHTO/FHWA standards is a plus.
• Ability to read engineering plans and coordinate field operations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and integration of ITS systems.
• Coordinate fiber optics, networks, power, CCTV, DMS, and related civil works.
• Work with field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and designers to ensure execution.
• Review plans, specs, drawings; maintain as-built records and RFIs/submittals.
• Support equipment testing, fault finding, and system acceptance activities.
• Monitor progress, subcontractor performance, schedule, cost, quality, and safety.
