AtkinsRéalis Group in Tallahassee, Florida, is seeking an ITS Systems Engineer to support planning, design, implementation, operation, and lifecycle management of statewide ITS systems and communications infrastructure. You will design and develop communications solutions for field connectivity, ITS devices, and centralized operations, collaborating with client staff and multiple teams.
The ideal candidate has experience with roadway ITS deployments, traffic signal systems, CCTV, DMS, RWIS, and
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- EI/EIT certification required; PE licensure preferred.
- Two to five years of relevant engineering experience.
Mansioni
- Support planning, design, implementation, operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of statewide ITS systems and supporting communications infrastructure.
- Design and develop communications and networking solutions for roadway ITS deployments and field device connectivity.
- Prepare engineering studies, technical memoranda, specifications, permit applications, cost estimates, and labor-hour estimates.
- Provide engineering support during procurement, implementation, construction, system integration, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Perform inspections and condition assessments of ITS assets to identify deficiencies and support lifecycle replacement planning.
- Collaborate with ITS operations, maintenance, engineering, and IT personnel to ensure compatibility with operational needs.
