Job summary

Sice Inc is seeking an ITS Technician in Orlando, FL to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair ITS infrastructure including traffic signals, cameras, sensors, and control systems. The role combines fieldwork with work in control enclosures, requiring attention to safety and adherence to regulations.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, an OSHA 10 (30 preferred), and a technical certificate is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, diagnose ITS infrastructure including signals, cameras, sensors, and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspect ITS devices for wear or malfunction.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, network, and communications issues to restore service.
• Respond to system failures or emergencies outside normal hours as needed.
• Read and interpret engineering diagrams, plans, and vendor specifications.
• Document maintenance logs, repair records, and system performance metrics.
