Job summary

Econolite Group in Port St. Lucie, FL is seeking an ITS Technician to install, troubleshoot and maintain traffic signals and ITS devices. Under general direction, you will handle field installations and may operate a bucket truck, with potential travel across Florida and the US and on-call duties as needed.

The ideal candidate has five years of related experience, OSHA knowledge and the ability to read schematics and engineering drawings. A valid driver’s license is required, CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of related experience.
• IMSA Level II/III certification preferred; FDOT Temporary Traffic Control Certification preferred; Electrician License preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Ability to interpret design schematics, site plans, maps, and engineering drawings.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and an acceptable DMV record; CDL preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot ITS equipment including CCTV, detectors, RSUs, and cabinets.
• Field implementation of traffic control devices and operation of a bucket truck.
• Travel within Florida and the US; may be on-call for customer call-outs.
• Represent the company professionally to support the brand.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
