The role involves using hand and power tools to install or replace IRD equipment, working outdoors in a construction environment, and supporting testing and calibration of IRD roadside electronics. The position requires a valid Driver's License, ability to travel to remote sites, and willingness to work in all

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a construction, manual labor or field service related work.
• Background in road construction is asset.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, DOS & Windows based environments.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools used in construction projects.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Assist Field Supervisors with road construction and field service tasks.
• Operate hand and power tools for installation and integration of IRD equipment.
• Work outdoors in a construction environment.
• Support testing and calibration of IRD roadside electronics.
• Document installation service work in IRD’s records and web-based ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot issues from testing phase to completion onsite.
• Work in all weather conditions and travel to remote locations; may work at heights.
