Job summary

Queensborough National Bank is hiring an ITM Teller to improve customer loyalty through a positive Interactive Teller Machine experience and accurate, prompt transactions. Under supervision, you balance daily transactions and provide STAR quality service in a busy branch.

Responsibilities include assisting Spanish-speaking customers, processing ITM deposits and loan payments, cross-selling bank services, and answering inquiries with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and able to support Spanish speaking customers.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Previous teller experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with an on-line teller terminal and basic MS Office acceptable.

• Accepts ITM deposits and cashes checks to customers’ accounts
• Accepts ITM loan payments and safe deposit box rent payments

• Adheres to the policies and procedures of the Bank and complies with all banking laws, rules and regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned

The ITM Teller is responsible for increasing Queensborough Customer Loyalty by ensuring consistent, positive, and valuable customer Interactive Teller Machine experience. Under general supervision, but conforming to established policies and procedures, employees operate an Interactive Teller Machine and provide prompt, efficient, accurate transactions and STAR quality customer service. Employees are responsible for balancing each day’s transactions.
