Job summary

Northwood Technical College is seeking a full-time iTLC Support Technician at the Superior Campus to provide comprehensive customer service and technical support for library services, classroom technologies, and access to college applications.

You will assist with circulation, catalog materials, and support both onsite and remote learning environments while collaborating with the iTLC team to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or two years post-secondary education) in related field.
• Two years related work experience.
• Equivalent educational/occupational experience may be a high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and support to faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
• Assist with circulation services including check-in/check-out and holds processing.
• Process and catalog library materials using the library management system.
• Prepare materials for shelving and labeling.
• Assist with library inventory projects and collection audits.
• Support students and staff with information literacy questions and research strategies.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Library Services on instructional resources and outreach.
• Provide classroom and backup conference center technology support, including training and troubleshooting.
• Support on-site and remote/virtual classes and campus hours, including nights and weekends.
• Coordinate course make-up and accommodation testing.
• Monitor and respond to service desk tickets and provide Tier 1 assistance.
• Provide backup support for library, learning technologies and general iTLC operations.
• Manage issuance of student identification cards.
• Maintain knowledge of library services and industry trends.
• Other duties as assigned.
