Job Description

Full time position supporting prekindergarten age students with mild/moderate disabilities, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other needs, in community childcare settings.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate students for services through data collection, teacher reports, observations, checklists and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA)
  • Develop appropriate behavior support plans, social skills curriculum and ensure consistency in programming
  • Oversee the development of data-collection and behavioral procedures in order to monitor target behaviors and student progress
  • Develop and create objective and measurable individualized IEP goals and objectives.
  • Ensure ABA strategies, behavior plans, and reinforcement systems are implemented consistently and accurately in the childcare setting
  • Provide student progress toward goals and objectives through IEP progress reports and IEP meetings
  • Support teachers/staff regarding behavioral management plans/procedures
  • Provide teachers/staff with resources, tools, and modeling of techniques
  • Work with students 1:1 or in small groups
  • Complete needed reports, paperwork and job-related assignments in a timely manner
  • Work collaboratively with related service providers
  • Participate in district offered professional development
