Job summary

The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Process Consultant at Tampa Electric Company focuses on IT Change Enablement, Configuration Management and Technology Asset Management for corporate and NERC CIP-regulated assets.

You will guide process design, drive compliance, and mentor analysts while partnering with IT operations, security, and compliance teams to reduce risk and improve service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business; alternative: 4 years extra experience.
• ITIL v3 or v4 Release and Control Practitioner within 6 months of hire.
• IT-related certifications (CCNA, MSCE, Network+ etc.).
• 8 years of related work experience in Change, Configuration and Asset Management.
• NERC CIP, NIST knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guides design, implementation and improvement of Change, Configuration and Technology Asset Management.
• Leads projects, mentors peers, and helps compliance teams strengthen processes for audit readiness.
• Implements and ensures compliance across Change, Configuration and Asset domains.
• Participates in daily operations with partners to ensure process effectiveness.
