Heven AeroTech is seeking an ITAR/EAR Compliance Specialist in Sterling, Virginia. The role ensures compliance with U.S. export regulations, managing licensing and training across the company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with U.S. export controls, specifically ITAR and EAR compliance in an aerospace environment.
• Experience preparing and managing DDTC and BIS license applications, TAAs, and MLAs.
• Strong working knowledge of the U.S. Munitions List (USML) and Commerce Control List (CCL).
• Familiarity with restricted-party screening processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and manage export license applications and other authorizations.
• Maintain a comprehensive license tracking system.
• Conduct commodity jurisdiction and export control classifications.
• Implement and continuously improve the Export Compliance Program.
