Job summary

Heven AeroTech is looking for an ITAR/EAR Compliance Specialist located in Sterling, Virginia. This role will ensure full adherence to U.S. export control regulations, managing export compliance programs, and serving as a subject-matter expert across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in export controls, specifically ITAR and EAR, and possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with U.S. export controls, specifically ITAR and EAR compliance.
• Demonstrated experience preparing and managing DDTC and BIS license applications.
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. Munitions List (USML) and Commerce Control List (CCL).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and manage export license applications.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and internal audits.
• Develop and implement the Export Compliance Program.
