Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is hiring a Sr. Export Compliance Officer in Arlington, VA, offering a hybrid work schedule. You will manage end-to-end export authorizations, act as a subject-matter expert on EAR/ITAR, and develop licensing processes to support business objectives.

You will report to the Export Compliance Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory adherence and efficient licensing operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in export compliance.
• Expert knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations.
• Experience managing export license applications and classifications.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering trainings.

Responsibilities

• Administer export license records and audits, ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with Licensing Operations to improve processes and metrics.
• Communicate regulatory changes through training and guidance.
• Develop and implement export compliance procedures and forms.
• Draft and review complex export license applications for EAR/ITAR.
• Support audits with data gathering and remediation of findings.
• Embed export compliance in operational processes across teams.
• Provide regulatory guidance to Authorization Owners and business managers.
• Utilize SAP/GTS to manage export transactions within license scope.
