Job summary

AV is seeking a Trade Compliance Officer to drive a fully compliant export program in the US. The role covers licensing, classifications, training, and records, reporting to Trade Compliance Leadership.

Ideal candidates have extensive export administration experience with aerospace/defense contexts and proven collaboration with external consultants. This is a full-time position in Dayton, OH.

Qualifications

• Experience with ITAR/EAR regulations and export licensing processes.
• Ability to work with government entities and international customers.
• Experience collaborating with external trade compliance consultants.
• Excellent documentation and recordkeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and manage export license applications (DSP-5, DSP-61, etc.).
• Maintain accurate product classifications (ECCN, ITAR, HTS, Schedule B).
• Coordinate with outside TC consultants and legal counsel.
• Train employees and audit compliance with company procedures.
• Support international business development and proposal reviews.
