Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ingredients, produce, presentation, and recipes as set forth at Palma.
• Sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine a plus.
• DOH certificate - is a Plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as a team leader.
• Excellent verbal & non-verbal communication skills.
• Impeccable attention to detail.
• English and Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consistently ensure that mise en place is impeccably prepped and stocked throughout service.
• Display high standards in cooking, timing, food presentation and communication.
• Promote teamwork amongst the kitchen team at Palma.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization, adhere to safe work and equipment practices, and follow all food safety, health and sanitation standards.
• Follow Palma's policies and guidelines.
