Welo Data is seeking detail-oriented Data Labeling Analysts to support speech and voice AI systems on-site across multiple U.S. cities. The role focuses on producing high-quality, well-structured feedback from audio and language data to improve AI models.

Requirements include native Italian fluency, 1 year of labeling experience or a related degree, and full-time W2 employment with no visa sponsorship. Candidates must be able to commute to one of the listed locations.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Italian.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work; or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification in a related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior — identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully — and flag when they don't reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
