Welo Data is seeking a Data Labeling Associate (Italian speakers) to join our onsite team. You will work with cutting-edge AI systems, evaluate outputs, and provide structured feedback that improves real-world performance.

The role emphasizes data quality, model evaluation, and precise judgment in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has native Italian proficiency, strong English skills, and 1–2 years of writing experience with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Native-level Italian proficiency and a university degree (Bachelor’s or higher).
• Fluent English at B2 or higher.
• 1–2 years of professional writing experience with structured writing skills.
• 2+ years of experience in safety in GenAI data delivery.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to make sound judgments in ambiguous situations.
• Curiosity about AI, technology, and system behavior.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior — identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully — and flag when they don’t reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings clearly and concisely.
