Welo Data seeks detail-oriented Data Labeling Analysts to support speech and voice AI systems in the United States. This 100% onsite role requires Italian language proficiency and careful, consistent data handling to build high-quality datasets for AI models.

You will evaluate model outputs, perform audits, and help improve evaluation frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position offers full-time hours and a steady, production-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Italian.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work; or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior — identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully — and flag when they don’t reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
