Welo Data is seeking meticulous Data Labeling Analysts to support speech and voice AI systems onsite in the United States. The role centers on building high-quality datasets from audio and language data, demanding precision, consistency, and strong judgment to ensure well-structured inputs for AI models.

Ideal candidates have native Italian fluency, reliable focus, and either 1 year of labeling experience or a related bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Italian.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or related content work, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and structured, process-driven work style.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior to identify patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag when they don’t reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
