Welo Data is seeking detail-oriented Data Labeling Analysts for an onsite role supporting speech and voice AI systems in the US. You will work with audio data to build high-quality datasets, applying guidelines with precision and delivering structured feedback.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) as a W2 employee, requiring US work authorization. Expect a rigorous, production-driven environment with opportunities to contribute to evaluation frameworks and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Native-level English (UK) proficiency and strong written communication.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling or related field, or a related degree.
• Ability to follow detailed guidelines accurately and consistently.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Comfort in structured, process-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Audit data and model behavior to identify patterns, edge cases, and failures.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag discrepancies with real-world relevance.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks beyond execution.
• Identify trends in model performance and share clear insights.
• Participate in team calibrations and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads to refine quality standards.
