Western Alliance Bancorporation is seeking an IT Manager – IT Workforce Strategy & Program Manager to lead governance of IT workforce programs that support the organization's technology strategy and operations. You will partner with IT leadership, HR, TA, universities, and external organizations to establish workforce strategies, capabilities, governance, and metrics aligned with IT priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT program management and workforce strategy experience.
• Leadership experience and ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Strong understanding of cyber security, cloud, and data analytics.
• Experience with KPI dashboards, governance, and executive reporting.
• Familiarity with industry certifications and frameworks (Azure, ISC2, OWASP).
• Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Govern and manage IT workforce programs (Career Development, Internship, certifications).
• Develop governance frameworks, standards, and operating procedures.
• Create and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, and monthly reports.
• Define and report KPIs/OKRs across the technology organization.
• Oversee budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking for tech programs.
• Partner with IT leaders to align programs with strategy and objectives.
• Lead communications strategies and technology culture initiatives (iTogether).
• Travel to tech hubs, universities, recruitment events as needed.
