Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks an experienced Staff IT Analyst II to support IT Governance, Risk, and Controls. You will act as a first line of defense, partnering with risk owners and control owners to track priorities and maintain risk documentation.

The role emphasizes data collection, analysis, and timely remediation across risk types. You will develop KRIs and KPIs, monitor controls, and prepare clear risk reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT risk management, governance, internal controls, compliance, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Intermediate experience with IT general controls, risk/self-assessments, issue management and remediation tracking.
• Familiarity with COBIT, NIST, FFIEC, ISO 27001 or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute risk programs and business unit risk activities.
• Collaborate with control owners and second line partners to track risk priorities.
• Prepare risk and control information with data from multiple sources.
• Develop KRIs, KPIs, and operational metrics for decision making.
• Produce risk reports and dashboards for leadership and governance.
