MFG INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIST (IT MANAGER) / $63,600 - $111,200 (Finance)

Position Summary: Provide assistance, knowledge, and technical support to management and end-users. Collaborate with plant and corporate teams to determine mutual IT objectives. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently, and accurately to maintain and improve plant performance in Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR), and our Customer 1st strategy. Demonstrate leadership embodying our 7 Kroger Manufacturing High Performance Work System principles. Desired Previous Job Experience:
  • Career Training Program (CTP) graduate in Manufacturing Information Technology
  • Networking experience in a Windows environment
  • Experience with Wonderware SCADA systems
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting
Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or an associate's degree with 4 years of technical experience
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certifications in relevant Microsoft technologies
  • Ability to complete Asset Centre training and pass an audit of PLC/HMI databases
  • Ability to complete Rockwell training and certification for Ethernet/IP networks, PLC/HMI communications, and related software management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and workflow design skills
Essential Job Functions:
  • Stay updated on industry and discipline developments relevant to plant operations
  • Act as liaison between plant, technical services, and corporate IT
  • Develop annual budget for plant capital and expenses
  • Coordinate installation and maintenance of IT hardware and networks
  • Document programs and updates according to standards
  • Test and document disaster recovery plans
  • Create procedures to ensure adherence to security and IT policies
  • Design solutions and translate concepts into images
  • Support servers, networks, and SCADA applications
  • Maintain software licenses and perform PLC database backups
  • Provide technical guidance for plant applications
  • Follow safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including supporting SQF Food Safety Systems
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
