Job summary

ApplicantPool seeks an IT Specialist to support Rockwall County daily computing operations and ensure minimal downtime. The role covers workstation support, webmaster activities, AV coordination and user training.

Responsibilities include configuring hardware and software, managing user accounts, CMS access, and cross‑functional troubleshooting across Windows, VMware, and server environments while delivering high‑quality service to county stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with configuring and maintaining Windows servers and VMware environments.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and government regulations.
• Experience with CMS access and web form management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide workstation support for PCs, printers, phones, and peripherals.
• Install, update and deploy software and OS, coordinate warranty fulfillment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues for users and departments.
• Administer user accounts and access rights; manage training documentation.
• Coordinate AV setups and maintain equipment with vendors.
• Support webmaster tasks and CMS access controls.
• Create end-user guides and provide user training sessions.
