Job summary

rwlasvegas is seeking an IT Technician to support and maintain in-house technology equipment and IT assets. You will install, configure, diagnose, repair, and upgrade hardware while ensuring optimal performance. End-user training and timely problem resolution are also part of the role.

You will write specs for equipment purchases, manage hardware inventories, and assist with disaster recovery planning. Strong communication and a customer‑oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role.
• Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control.
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain in-house technology equipment and IT assets.
• Install, configure, diagnose, repair, and upgrade hardware and equipment.
• Troubleshoot problem areas and provide end user training and assistance.
• Write technical specifications for purchase of technology equipment.
• Develop and maintain inventory of monitors, keyboards, and networking gear.
• Respond to hardware problems via calls, pages, or emails.
• Maintain knowledge of hardware contracts and supervise installations.
