GCS Recruitment is seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician to support hardware, infrastructure, and end-user technology in a mission-critical operations environment in Pendergrass, GA. You will build, image, configure, and deploy hardware, troubleshoot desktops and network issues, and perform rack-and-stack, cabling, and routine maintenance.

Ideal candidate has 1+ year IT experience, Windows knowledge, basic Linux CLI, networking fundamentals, and a proactive approach to problem solving;

• 1+ year hands-on IT support or data center experience.
• Experience with hardware deployment and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and basic Linux CLI.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.

Responsabilidades

What You'll Do

• Build, image, configure, and deploy hardware and devices.

• Handle Layer 1/Layer 2 troubleshooting and device‑level fault isolation.
• Work tickets, perform routine maintenance, and support change management activities.
• Escalate issues when required and follow documented procedures.
• Support site technology operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of hands‑on IT support, field services, infrastructure, or data center experience.
• Experience with hardware deployment and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and basic Linux command‑line usage.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, cabling, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• ServiceNow experience is a plus.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent experience preferred.
