Job summary

GI Alliance seeks an IT Technician I to provide technical support to practice offices, the CBO, and physicians. You will troubleshoot hardware, install software, and maintain user accounts across office locations, with travel as needed within and outside the DFW Metroplex.

Associate’s degree or equivalent with 1–4 years in IT, plus A+ certification and at least one of Network+, Security+, MCP, CCENT, or VCP. VMware knowledge is a plus and strong communication is required.

• Support and maintain user account information including rights, security and system groups.

Qualifications

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within particular fields.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Ability to multi‑task.
• Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Required certification in A+, with additional certification required in at least one of the following: Network+, Security+, MCP, CCENT, or VCP. Even without VCP, a basic understanding of VMWare is preferred.
• Must be able to travel to our offices within and outside of DFW Metroplex.

Education and Experience
