Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an IT Technician for a local metal fabrication company.

Are you the person everyone calls when the computer, printer, network, or software isn’t cooperating? We’re looking for a hands‑on, dependable IT Technician who enjoys troubleshooting problems and keeping technology running smoothly in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

• Provide day‑day technical support for employees
• Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, printers, and network issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computers and other IT equipment
• Set up user accounts, workstations, and system access
• Assist with network connectivity and basic infrastructure troubleshooting
• Maintain and update software, operating systems, and security programs
• Help protect company systems, files, and sensitive information
• Track IT equipment, repairs, and technical issues
• Support technology used throughout office and manufacturing operations
• Coordinate with outside IT vendors when additional support is needed
• Minimize downtime caused by technology issues
• Provide timely and professional support to employees
• Keep computers, networks, and equipment operating reliably
• Maintain accurate documentation and organized IT assets
• Help ensure company systems remain secure and up to date
• Strong computer hardware and software troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
• Basic networking knowledge, including Wi‑Fi, Ethernet, and connectivity troubleshooting
• Ability to install and configure computers, printers, and peripherals
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Ability to explain technical information to non‑technical users

Previous experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or a similar technical role is preferred. Experience supporting a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.

We’re looking for someone who is:

You should be comfortable working independently, prioritizing multiple requests, and jumping in to solve problems when technology gets in the way of production.

Technical training, certifications, or a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field is preferred. Relevant hands‑on experience may also be considered.
