Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience in technical writing.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear written materials.
• Experience creating user manuals, training materials, guides or reports.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with common document creation, editing, and presentation tools.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, organize, and translate technical information into clear documentation.
• Develop documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Write, edit, and maintain manuals, training materials, guides, proposals, and reports.
• Collaborate with SMEs, developers, engineers, analysts, and program staff to gather information.
• Translate complex concepts into understandable written content.
• Review existing docs and improve accuracy, clarity, and usability.
• Edit and proofread for grammar, consistency, and technical accuracy.
• Develop templates, style standards, and formatting conventions.
• Organize content logically for easy audience understanding.
• Support technical reports, presentations, briefings, and other deliverables.
• Assist with training materials for systems, applications, processes, and procedures.
• Coordinate document reviews and incorporate feedback from teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation lifecycle and reflect changes accurately.
• Support configuration management and version control of docs.
