Job summary

Global Connections to Employment (GCE) seeks an IT Technical Trainer to deliver high-quality instruction and hands-on training to abilIT participants. You will guide learners through the IT curriculum, adhere to daily lesson plans, and create an engaging environment that builds technical skills, confidence, and career readiness for IT roles.

Qualified applicants have an Associate's degree in IT or related field and at least two years of IT experience; certification options are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT, cybersecurity, computer science, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of professional IT experience.
• May substitute education/experience.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+ preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with vocational implications of disabilities.
• Skilled in curriculum development and lesson planning.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality IT instruction and hands-on training.
• Guide participants through assigned IT curriculum and daily lesson plans.
• Create an engaging learning environment that supports skill development and career readiness.
