Job summary

Kelly in San Jose, CA is seeking a Technical Analyst (Junior / Entry Level) to provide hands-on IT support for employees in the local office and remote users as needed.

Technical Analyst (Junior / Entry Level) – San Jose, CA (100% On-site)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay: $27/hr

Experience: 0–2 years (any relevant experience with computers will be considered; some experience preferred). Training will be provided.

About the role:

The Technical Analyst is responsible for all operational aspects of support functions. Effective interpersonal skills matched to strong technical skills are key to this position. This role serves as an on-site and remote technician, working closely with Executive users, Business Apps, Network, Server, and Information Security groups.

This position reports to the IT Manager, IT Service Americas and is part of the Information Technology team located in San Jose, California. This is an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide excellent hands-on support to the employees working from the San Jose office.
• Develop your career with on-the-job training, with learning and certification reimbursement.
• Follow established procedures to independently manage the ticketing system queue and provide tier 2 desktop support for internal staff working locally and remotely.
• Maintain onboarding and offboarding following standard operating procedures.
• Configure and maintain computers imaged with Windows 11 and macOS, including advanced troubleshooting of Microsoft applications.

Physical / environment requirements:

• Sitting or standing for long periods may be necessary.
• Some lifting (greater than 25 lbs) may be necessary; IT employees occasionally must lift at least 50 lbs.
