Safran Seats in Gainesville, Texas, seeks an IT Technical Specialist II to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, and to manage deployment timelines. You will act as a subject matter expert for IT processes, monitor onboarding/offboarding, and support a 2,000–3,000 node environment.

The role requires strong Windows 10, MS product knowledge, and experience with deployment images, VBScript, and PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in IT or related field required
• Alternative: Associate in IT plus 3+ years IT experience
• 6+ years IT exp can replace degree
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and MS products

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots complex computer, peripheral, or software/hardware issues
• Act as SME for IT processes and guidelines
• Monitor onboarding/offboarding and deployment delivery timelines
• Manage ticket queue and coordinate with Global Service Desk
• Develops deployment scripts to improve IT services
• Maintain IT inventory accuracy and document technical notes
• Mentor junior technicians and interns
