A leading distributor of shipping materials in Plainfield, CT, is looking for an IT Systems Technician. The successful candidate will provide tech support for employees and ensure systems are running smoothly. Responsibilities include troubleshooting user issues, setting up IT equipment, and managing the IT inventory system. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Competitive hourly pay starting from $27 to $34 and a $5,000 signing bonus are offered.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent is required, a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Prior IT Systems Technician experience with knowledge of networking, hardware and application systems.
Understanding of Windows OS, Group Policy, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 applications.
Responsibilities
Provide technology support to end-users, troubleshooting incident requests.
Set up and manage computers, printers, audio/visual equipment.
Oversee the IT inventory system and perform preventative maintenance.
Coordinate technology equipment moves and uphold cabling standards.
