Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks an IT Systems Administrator to monitor and support multi-discipline IT tasks across applications, databases, QA, software, networks, and infrastructure operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 4–6 years in IT, and advanced knowledge of Windows/Server ecosystems with Office365, SharePoint, and Teams. Expect collaborative work on deployment of new tech and problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• 4-6 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or related IT field.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and related products (Windows, Windows Servers, Office365, SharePoint, Teams).
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex system hardware, software or networking problems.
• Ability to plan and coordinate deployment of new technology and work as part of a project team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and supports IT systems infrastructures.
• Conducts moderately complex analysis including planning, designing, and evaluating IT tools.
• Responds to user requests for system needs and upgrades.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems with minimal supervision.
• Maintains OS and related software, runs backups and data recovery when needed.
• Creates and maintains system documentation and guides.
• Plans and designs new platforms and integrates new technologies.
• Performs cost analysis of new platforms and technologies.
