Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a Level 1 Systems Support Technician to maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, laptops, and peripherals. The role covers installation, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and upgrades to keep workstations performing at a high level.

The position requires a two-year IT degree and four years of related IT experience, with emphasis on PC hardware and network basics. It also involves producing timely service to guests and staff and will include occasional on-site travel as

Qualifications

Two-year degree in related IT field; additional training/certifications preferred.
Four years of related IT experience; hospitality/corporate setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of PC hardware and hands-on troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging and monitoring PC performance.
Document hardware failures, repairs, installations, and removals.
Support development and implementation of new computer projects and hardware installations.
Schedule and perform PC, hardware, and peripheral upgrades and repairs.
Liaise with end users and staff, providing training and support on computer operation.
Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
