Job summary

Helpware Inc. is seeking an IT Specialist to provide on-site and remote support in Orlando, FL. The role involves diagnosing user issues across hardware, software, and networking, and serving as the first contact for troubleshooting and training.

The ideal candidate has BPO experience, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication. Associates degree or technical training is expected; certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a BPO environment.
• Desktop Support or IT Help Desk experience.
• Proficiency researching and troubleshooting complex problems and errors.
• Basic networking and telephony knowledge.
• Ability to plan, document, and execute complex tasks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent in CS or IT; technical schooling preferred.
• Certifications like CompTIA or MCITP are a plus but not required.
• Experience with Windows, MacOS and ChromeOS; familiarity with O365 and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure new hardware, maintain inventory, and track it in real-time.
• Troubleshoot computers and software; diagnose user problems.
• Install and configure OS/software and track licenses in real-time.
• Asset management and real-time hardware/software inventory tracking.
• On-site end-user support and incident management for IT infrastructure.
• Coordinate with supervisors for high-quality support on new systems and upgrades.
• Other duties as assigned.
