Job summary

TKO StaffPros is seeking an IT Systems & Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support in a manufacturing environment. You will assist employees with computer, software, hardware, and connectivity issues while supporting IT systems and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, experience with Windows systems, and the ability to deliver professional user support at all levels.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field or equivalent IT experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft technologies.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and basic networking.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with network and systems teams.
• Relevant certifications such as A+, Network+, Server+, Security+, MCSA, or MCSE are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support to employees through service tickets, phone, email, and walk-up requests.
• Diagnose and resolve computer, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Set up, configure, image, and maintain desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, phones, and other IT equipment.
• Install and support Microsoft Office and other business applications.
• Create and maintain user accounts and computer accounts through Active Directory.
• Assist with VPN access, mobile devices, conference room equipment, and video conferencing systems.
• Support network and systems teams with equipment installations, maintenance, testing, and onsite infrastructure projects.
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and connectivity issues.
• Help maintain server rooms, IT equipment, and technology inventory.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including account and equipment management.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow company IT security standards.
• Stay current with technology and recommend improvements when appropriate.

What We’re Looking For
