Qualifications

• A valid driver's license and dependable transportation to visit customer locations within roughly a 60-mile radius of Red Wing, MN and Hudson, WI.
• Reliable home internet access and a mobile phone.
• Ability to collaborate with a team and work with limited oversight while juggling multiple priorities.
• Comfort with frequent interruptions and maintaining organization.
• Strong verbal, written, listening, and customer service abilities.
• Two-year technical program preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, service-focused technical support to customers and end users.
• Support IT solutions across security, disaster recovery, AD, Microsoft 365, network switches, wireless systems, storage, and related equipment.
• Contribute to IT project delivery and maintain accurate time entries under service standards.
• Create and maintain customer documentation and participate in rotating on-call schedule.

Requirements

Must have:

• – We need someone with a valid drivers license and dependable transportation to visit customer locations within roughly a 60-mile radius of Red Wing, MN, and Hudson, WI.
• – We expect reliable home internet access and a mobile phone.
• – Were looking for someone who can collaborate well with a team, work with limited oversight, and juggle multiple priorities.
• – You should be comfortable handling frequent interruptions while staying organized.
• – Strong verbal, written, listening, and customer service abilities are essential.
• – A minimum of a two-year technical program is preferred, though equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• – Youll need solid troubleshooting skills, including the ability to work through complex issues in a structured way.
• – You should be able to adapt existing knowledge quickly to unfamiliar tools and services.
• – We require a good understanding of core networking concepts, including wired networking, wireless networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, access rules, and NAT.
• – Experience with Microsoft Windows server and desktop systems, on-premises Active Directory, Microsoft 365 user and security administration, and VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter is expected.
• – Knowledge of ConnectWise Automate, Control, and Manage, SonicWALL security products, Veeam Backup & Replication, Unifi networking gear, PowerShell scripting, and Microsoft 365 administration will be an advantage.
• – This role requires the ability to lift and carry equipment up to 75 lbs and to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, reaching, and working in confined positions.
• – You must be able to use a computer continuously and work seated or standing for extended periods.
• – You should be able to adapt to different client-site environments.
• – Relocation to Red Wing, MN 55066 before starting work is required.
