Job summary

Hawaii Health Systems Corporation, East Hawaii Region, seeks an IT Specialist III to support deployment, maintenance, and operation of hardware and software across the East Hawai‘i Region. You will provide technical support to hospital staff, clinics, and affiliated facilities, ensuring reliable technology and responsive customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with IT principles, methods, and practices.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Experience with servers, workstations, and networks.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, install, test, move, and maintain computer hardware, peripheral equipment, software, network equipment, and related technology systems.
• Provide technical support to end users and clinical staff at Hilo Benioff Medical Center and affiliated facilities.
• Implement and document hardware and software changes, installations, upgrades, and removals while maintaining system records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues involving hardware, software, networks, and application processes.
• Maintain hardware and software inventory and assist with equipment acquisition, transfer, and disposal.
• Collaborate with IS staff on the implementation and maintenance of Regional and Enterprise applications with professional customer service.
