Job summary

Northeastern Junior College seeks a proactive Technical Systems Specialist to install and configure desktop and mobile devices, maintain inventories, and manage security and drive encryption. You will support the NJC portal, apps, and user accounts using Microsoft, Apple, and Android ecosystems.

You will participate in cybersecurity initiatives, respond to help desk requests, and document deployment procedures. Strong collaboration with IT and campus staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred in technology or related field.
• 1 year of experience in Windows 11, Apple iOS, and Office 365 environments.
• Experience with enterprise networks (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) and cloud platforms.
• Endpoint management with Intune/Autopilot/AD, ITIL basics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, update, and maintain desktop, notebook, and peripheral hardware and software.
• Manage help desk tickets and provide user support on campus.
• Create and manage user accounts, security groups, and access.
• Develop deployment processes for OSs and apps using Intune and SCCM.
• Document processes and provide end-user training.
