The Local Foreigner, a boutique travel systems consultancy in New York, seeks an IT Systems Manager to own our technology and infrastructure, including hardware, software, licenses, and vendors. You will manage day-to-day administration and the end-to-end lifecycle of IT resources across the business.

• Experience managing IT infrastructure and assets across a small business.
• Proven ability to manage vendors, contracts, renewals and budgets.
• Hands-on systems administration including user access and licenses.
• Strong focus on security, backups, and business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Own assets, hardware, software licenses and vendor relationships across the company.
• Serve as primary systems administrator for access, permissions, and configuration.
• Direct Help Desk operations and oversee escalation and resolution.
• Partner with leadership to improve systems, workflows, and reporting.
