Job summary

The State of Florida, Department of Children and Families, is seeking a Systems Programming Consultant to guide IT projects, coordinate with ESS Program Office and System Integrator teams, and ensure release readiness and stakeholder communications.

You will analyze processes, support design, testing, deployment, and post-production support, monitor system performance, and prepare status reports for management and executive leadership. This in-person, full-time role is based in Tallahassee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; 5+ years in IT project roles.
• Strong analytical, communication, and QA experience.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile, and DevOps/Jira.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities across ESS, IT, and vendors.
• Develop change management and release plans.
• Monitor progress and report status to management.
