Job summary

The Florida Department of Children and Families seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of information technology initiatives within the Office of Information Technology Services at the Tallahassee headquarters.

You will coach teams, apply PM templates and PMBOK methods, coordinate with agency clients, and ensure alignment with agency goals. Strong communication, planning, and procurement knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/IT or related field with 1 year PM experience; or 2 years with unrelated degree.
• PMP is desirable but not required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing IT projects.
• General knowledge of Florida procurement process.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate IT projects per agency strategy.
• Guide project teams using PM tools, templates and PMBOK.
• Facilitate meetings and design sessions with agency clients.
• Deliver project management plans and change management.
• Coordinate data analysis, reporting and governance activities.
