Job summary

Community Action Organization Of Western New York is seeking a Full-Time (Temporary) IT technician responsible for installing, configuring, and upgrading computer hardware and software systems. The role ensures system support across multiple Windows functions and involves technical assistance and training for users.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree in computer sciences and at least two years of experience in a computer-related field. Duties include monitoring and maintaining LAN/WAN systems and providing user support and training.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in computer sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) years' experience in a computer-related field.

Responsibilities

  • Installs, configures and upgrades computer hardware and software systems.
  • Supports multiple Windows server functions like Active Directory.
  • Initiates technical assistance and training to system users.
  • Monitors, maintains and performs LAN/WAN management.
  • Maintains current server anti-virus and client virus protection.
